CURL-er-MAAAAN!

Actually, it’s Super Curl, who I assume can leap tall buildings… in heels? I don’t know how many of you were interested in the new-style cage-free eyelash curler when I wrote about The Revolution, from Urban Decay, whenever ago, but Tweezerman (TWEEE-zer-MAAAAN!) has a similar option called Super Curl.

Unlike the narrower-than-normal model from Urban Decay, this one boasts an extra-wide opening, designed to fit all of your lashes at once instead of in little sections. However, like The Revolution, this guy doesn’t have the little bars on the sides, so it won’t pinch around the edges.

At $9, it’s significantly cheaper than the Urban Decay model and any of the other eyelash curlers you’d find at Sephora. It is, however, more expensive than your average drugstore eyelash-curling contraption.

It’s made of clear (or black) plastic, and is definitely not going to win any awards for sexiness. Some of the reviews I read online said it was kind of clunky, but others said it was great, and less scary than a regular eyelash curler. I feel like everyone has their own specific needs from an eyelash curler, so I think it really depends on what you’re looking for. (That’s why I’m writing about it; maybe someone is looking for this!) You could always buy it somewhere with a good return policy and take it back if you don’t like it. (Ulta, for example, carries this model.)

Since my experience with the Revolution, I’ve decided I’m pretty darn happy with my Shue Uemura eyelash curler, so I’m not going to bother trying this one out. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up in case you’re in the market for something new, and possibly Super.
