I finally broke down and bought the Urban Decay Naked2

Bespectacled
Wow. So, it’s FALL, for reals, officially. I went outside in a sweatshirt and jeans today and I was still a little chilly! But that’s okay, because I love the change of seasons, and I was really starting to get sick of the heat and humidity. We’ve been treated to some truly gorgeous days this September.
I love fall fashion, I love fall foods, I love Halloween, and then Thanksgiving and Christmas and fondue and snow.
But.

Sure As Spit
We’ve all been there. You’ve got eye makeup where you don’t want eye makeup, so you grab a cotton swab, carefully dip it into your bottle of makeup remover (or run it under the tap), squeeze the excess out over the sink so it’s not too wet, then attack the offending pigment.

Coulda Been A Contenda
You might have heard me mention my favorite Buxom Mascara (which basically inspired this entire blog) one or twenty times before. I hardly ever try other mascaras, since I’m so happy with this one. But…

Super-Cool
Sometimes I buy things before I need them. Perhaps it’s some sort of shopping ESP, but every once in awhile I zero in on something, and feel like I need to buy it, even though I don't have a specific reason. Then, a few days or weeks later, it's exactly what I need.

Eye Think Eye Like It
The final installment of unofficial Neutrogena week is my review of their Nourishing Eyeliner. As I mentioned earlier in the week, all this Neutrogena stuff was sent to me by BzzAgent.com, free of charge, with the hope that I would share my honest opinion with you. As if they could stop me!

Tuuuurn Arouuuund, Briiiiight Eyyyyyes...
I recently received a very generous sampling of cosmetics from Neutrogena via BzzAgent.com. (Anyone can be a BzzAgent and get freebies! You should totally do it.) I’ll review all three this week, because it’s always nice to know about good stuff you can get at the drugstore, and it’s even nicer if you didn’t have to spend money on it to find out if it’s good or not.

Stuck on Me
I was fascinated by the new face stickers/decals/tattoos as soon as I heard about them, but at the same time, they really didn’t seem like a good idea. Too unnatural, too uncomfortable, just too weird. I decided it wasn’t worth it to spend money on them, even when they went on sale around the holidays.
But one magical day, a golden set of Violent Lips arrived in the mail, tucked inside my February Birch Box. On the punkahontas Facebook page, reader (and cousin) Jennifer commented that she really wanted to try the lip decals, but had received eye decals. We arranged to share our stickers via good old US Mail, since there were multiple decals in each packet.

Black Gold
I’ve had my eye on this eyeshadow for awhile, but I haven’t had this eyeshadow on my eye because I was trying not to buy more eyeshadow. But then I saw THIS.

Face Eraser
Since I have yet to find an eye cream that will truly banish the dark circles under my eyes, and even my dermatologist doesn’t know of anything that REALLY works, I cover them. But sometimes, the magic of Touche Éclat is not enough. There is only so much light reflective properties can do for my dark circles, which are caused by a fascinating combination of heredity, insomnia, and maybe even allergies. Some days are worse than others, which is why I went looking for some extra help.

Dr. LeWinn: All Up In Your Face
Dr. LeWinn by Kinerase is another product line I’ve been trying out for BzzAgent. They sent me full size tubes of their Under Eye Recovery treatment and Wrinkle Repair Daily Lotion SPF 30. (But I don’t get paid for endorsing or not-endorsing the products.) I’ve been using the two products for three weeks now. Eye cream in the morning and at night, and the SPF cream just during the day.

Shadow of The Future
When I first heard about this (from a reader, thanks again B!) I thought it was just some sort of eyeshadow that changed colors on your face. Like, mood eyeshadow, or something, which would be pretty crazy. But this stuff is EVEN CRAZIER.

Blinc Once If You Like It, Twice If You Don’t
It seems like punkahontas readers have strong opinions about Blinc mascara. From what I've heard, they don’t really like it. Since I got a “free” tube in my Birch Box this month, I figured I should check it out and see what the beef is. (Hahah. That’s not how I talk, but oh well!)

Beautenizing!
I recently “went off” a bit about mascara advertising, because it's basically the worst way to learn about a new mascara. Well, no sooner had I written that, than I was presented with the BEST way to learn about a new mascara. A SAMPLE! Trying a mascara is obviously the best way to see how it works before buying it, but that’s not always an option.

Eye Don't Even KNOW.
I have some new reviews coming up for you, but I just need to show you ONE MORE crazy thing you can stick to your face: Fake eyelashes with silhouetted images!

CURL-er-MAAAAN!
Actually, it’s Super Curl, who I assume can leap tall buildings… in heels? I don’t know how many of you were interested in the new-style cage-free eyelash curler when I wrote about The Revolution, from Urban Decay, whenever ago, but Tweezerman (TWEEE-zer-MAAAAN!) has a similar option called Super Curl.

You Say You Want A Revolution
I’ve never understood why eyelash curlers had to have those bars on the sides. Why couldn’t someone just make a hinge on the back, so we wouldn’t have to worry about getting our lashes pinched in the corners? Well, it took 80-ish years, but Urban Decay finally did it.

Ahoy! Eye “Patches”
Yesterday, I got an interesting email from Sephora about a new product: Adhesive Eyeliner. Apparently, Dior has made “a set of innovative eyeliner ‘patches’ that are ready to wear in minutes.”

Cannonball Fail
Among other things I had planned for last weekend, I wanted to test out some waterproof eye makeup. Earlier this summer, I subjected waterproof eyeliner and mascara to trial by ocean, but I wanted to see how it held up in the pool. I also wanted to try out another waterproof mascara that I heard was really great. I had two pool days planned, so it would all work out fine. Or so I thought.
