What, exactly, is new?
Well, I have stopped taking on new projects, for one.
I have new sneakers, that I wear places outside the gym, because comfort is a new, yet elusive, priority in my life.
I have new low-maintenance side-swoop bangs, which I am probably growing out to be no-maintenance no-bangs. (I do miss my thick, straight, trim-every-two-weeks-bangs though.)
I am following a new diet, which bans many of my favorite things such as raw seafood, rare meat, cocktails, and soft cheeses, but allows things like ice cream, whenever I want it.
There is definitely a new number on the scale, which goes up by about a pound a week.
I have given up my office, and have a new small desk in the living room.
I have two new boards on Pinterest.
I am wearing a new kind of pants.
Mazel tov! Curious (in a totally non-judgy way) what you've decided about cosmetics and fragrances during your pregnancy... I read conflicting reports when I was pregnant and opted to go easy during the 1st trimester, then didn't worry about it much the rest of the time. No ill effects. ;) Hope you are healthy and happy.

ReplyDeleteThank you! My sparkle shoes have been my saviors lately! My feet have started to swell a little and most of my other shoes feel too tight. I'm glad I still have a fun pair to wear that are comfortable too!
